Ascribe to the Lord, you heavenly beings, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength. Ascribe to the Lord the glory due His name; worship the Lord in the splendor of His holiness. (Psalm 29:1,2)
“Ascribing” praise to Jesus means that we worship Him, glorify Him, adore Him, and speak well of Him to ourselves and to others. Harold Lindsell rightly said: “The continual offering of praise to God requires stamina; we ought to praise Him even when we don’t feel like it. Praising Him takes away the blues and restores us to normal.” Praising Jesus is great for the soul!
Here are some ascriptions of praise that I use for meditation to decentralize myself and help me to rejoice in Christ. Maybe they will be helpful to you. I have scattered hymn stanzas in between.
This posting is Part 2 of 2. If you missed it, you can go back and read Ascribing Praise to Jesus (Part 1).
From the New Testament:
Rom 11:33-36 Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable His judgments, and His paths beyond tracing out! “Who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been His counselor?” “Who has ever given to God, that God should repay them?” For from Him and through Him and for Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever! Amen.
Rom 16:25,27 Now to Him who is able to establish you by the gospel and the proclamation of Jesus Christ….To the only wise God be glory forever through Jesus Christ! Amen.
2 Cor 1:20 For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through Him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.
Eph 3:20-21 Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.

Jude 1:24-25 To Him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before His glorious presence without fault and with great joy–to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen.
