Victor Williams

Many class members and others had been praying for Vic Williams who died in 2018 and was promoted to glory. I was privileged to do Vic’s burial and memorial service in Dallas. Vic and Sue were valued members of our Adult SS class for years and moved to Dallas in 2017 to be near their daughter. I re-did my message from the service on CD here in Houston for those who asked for it. Vic often gave me orders over the years about what he wanted at his service. Before they moved to Dallas, Vic told me he wanted the same message/Scriptures as I used at Lynn Oliphant’s Memorial Service in 2015:
Christ says: I am the resurrection and the life.
The one who believes in me will live, even though they die
And whoever lives by believing in me will never die. (John 11:25-26)
Vic and Lynn really loved the Lord who first loved them. I’m sure they have reconnected in Heaven and are glorifying and enjoying Jesus together along with all the saints who’ve gone ahead of us. May God help us to prepare well for our home-going!
